Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

Using AskStage

AskStage is a free live Q&A and audience voting tool. By using AskStage, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use AskStage to:

  • Submit spam, abusive, hateful, or illegal content
  • Harass, threaten, or impersonate others
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or exploit the service
  • Scrape or automate requests in ways that harm other users

Host responsibilities

As a session host, you are responsible for the content displayed through your session. AskStage provides moderation tools — you decide what gets shown to your audience. Do not use AskStage to display content that is illegal, misleading, or harmful.

Questions submitted by audiences

When you submit a question as an audience member, you grant the session host permission to display it on screen at the event. Questions are reviewed by the host before display. Do not submit personal information you wouldn't want shown publicly.

Service availability

AskStage is provided free of charge, as-is. We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any losses arising from downtime, data loss, or service interruptions.

Intellectual property

AskStage and its design are owned by us. Content submitted by users (questions, session titles) remains yours. We do not claim ownership of user-submitted content.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of AskStage after changes means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the last update.
